This was announced at a meeting of the Public Chamber of Tatarstan by the chairman of the Central Election Commission of the republic, Andrey Kondratiev. "This year we are introducing microfont. All lines in the ballot will be made with a special microfont. If someone has a question about whether this ballot is forged, with the slightest hint on how to check it, a person will see that in this grid there is a microfont that is simply impossible to forge," Kondratiev explained. According to him, this is factory production, which will replace the mark that was made at the State Sign. Two signatures from members of the precinct election commission with the right to a decisive vote and the seal of the precinct election commission will also remain mandatory. Ballots with new security features will be delivered to the polling stations the day before the first day of voting.
