The Russian government is considering the possibility of introducing a complete ban on the export of diesel fuel. This was announced at a meeting with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak. — A complete ban on the export of gasoline and aviation kerosene has been introduced. We are also currently considering a complete ban on the export of diesel fuel, he stated. According to him, the situation in the fuel market is complicated but manageable. — At your instruction, Vladimir Vladimirovich, the government is taking all necessary measures to ensure stable fuel supply for consumers. A set of measures has been developed aimed at ensuring additional fuel supplies, especially now, in the summer season, taking into account the increased demand for petroleum products, Novak emphasized.

Thanks to these measures, it is possible to promptly resolve the periodically arising logistical difficulties in certain regions and at specific gas stations, he added.
Oil refineries are operating at full capacity. Repair times have been reduced, and scheduled maintenance has been postponed to a later date, Novak reported.
He also mentioned that changes to legislation will be considered in the coming days to stimulate fuel supplies to the Russian market: — We are utilizing reserves that were not previously used. We are also encouraging an increase in additional supplies to the domestic market, including changes to tax legislation prepared by the government in this regard. They will be adopted and reviewed in the coming days.
Let us remind you that in Russia, fuel distribution in regions continues to be restricted against the backdrop of increased demand. Among the regions where such measures have been introduced are Crimea, Irkutsk, Voronezh, and Omsk regions.
