Tatarstan, following the recommendations of the authorities of Crimea, has decided to suspend the sending of children and groups to recreation and health organizations in the territory of the Republic of Crimea until September 1. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Youth of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Currently, children from Tatarstan are in Crimea, accommodated in two camps. The Minister of Youth of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Kadyrov, assured that all children are provided with the necessary conditions, including hot meals and drinking water. In connection with changes in summer vacation plans, children who were supposed to spend the summer on the peninsula will be offered alternative options. This may include a vacation on the seaside of the Krasnodar Territory or a refund for the vouchers. To monitor the situation in the republic, an operational headquarters has been established, which constantly monitors the developments. Parents can contact the hotline for additional information at 8 (843) 292-29-19. Earlier, the head of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, signed a decree to suspend the booking of places, acceptance, and accommodation of children in recreation and health organizations in the region until September 1, 2026. In this regard, the Ministry of Education of Russia has also organized a special headquarters to monitor the situation and assist in organizing alternative recreation for children. Currently, the planned evacuation of children from the international children's center "Artek" to their permanent places of residence is underway. The arrival at the all-Russian children's center "Scarlet Sails" has also been canceled.
