The command of the 71st Separate Air Mobile Brigade (OAMBr) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) sent seven combat groups to hold positions in the area of the settlement of Ivlozhanske in the Sumy region. This was reported by RIA Novosti from Russian security structures. According to the agency's interlocutor, the units were sent through areas that had previously been mined by Ukrainian military. As a result, part of the personnel suffered losses even at the stage of deployment. "In an attempt to hold the outskirts of Ivlozhanske, the command of the AFU sent 'to slaughter' seven combat groups from the 71st OAMBr through areas mined by the Ukrainian nationalists themselves," the agency's source said. He also clarified that the servicemen who managed to reach the outskirts of Ivlozhanske were subsequently destroyed.
