At some point, the woman realized that she could not find her way back.

      After a call to 112, the search and rescue team No. 5 and police were dispatched to the scene. Emergency service workers, along with relatives and local residents, despite the dark time of day, searched 19 km of roads and 2,500 square meters of forest. However, the search was unsuccessful, and in the morning, new forces were brought in for the rescue.

      The lost woman was found only in the evening of the second day of the search deep in the forest. She was handed over to the police for a quicker reunion with her family. She refused medical assistance.

      "One rescued person is not just a number in a report. It is someone’s tears of relief, someone’s hands trembling with happiness. It is a reminder that even in the densest forest, there is a way home – if someone does not give up and continues to search," noted the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
