The president of "Rubin," Safiullin, has been elected to the executive committee of the Russian Football Union.

      A conference of the Russian Football Union (RFU) took place in Moscow, during which additional elections were held for the executive committee of the block. As a result of the voting, the president of "Rubin," Marat Safiullin, became a new member of the executive committee. Safiullin has been leading the Kazan club since January 2023. Under his leadership, "Rubin" returned to the Premier League and established itself. In the past season, "Rubin," having defeated "Krasnodar," "Dynamo," and other giants, took eighth place. Konstantin Zyryanov from "Zenit" and Ivan Maslyaev, a member of the board of directors of "Spartak," also joined the governing body.
