      How the payment will change

      For this category of citizens, the amount of the fixed payment to the insurance pension will be automatically increased — without the need for an application. "Citizens will have the right to receive, in a proactive, application-free manner, double fixed payments to the old-age insurance pension," the deputy said.

      The fixed payment currently is 9,584.69 rubles. After reaching 80 years (doubled) it will be 19,169.38 rubles.

      Important

      Bessarab noted that mass indexing or pension increases for all pensioners is not planned for July. Changes will only affect certain categories of benefit recipients who are entitled to recalculation by law.
