The youth club "Pegas" from Bavly represented the Bavlinsky district with dignity at the All-Russian historical reconstruction festival "Elbäden," which took place on June 27-28 in the village of Alvidino in the Pestrechinsky district. The team consisted of reenactors led by Azat Arslanov. As part of the festival, they participated in three key performances: "1919. The Youth of the Hero," the morning battle "Invasion," and "The Fiery Years of Brest." The unique equipment that the Bavly residents brought to the festival drew special interest from guests and organizers: the Soviet armored car BA-64 and the German light tank Pz.II. The vehicles were not just exhibits—they were actively used in the reconstruction scenarios. According to the organizers, the density of armored vehicles on site resembled episodes from the Battle of Kursk. The "Pegas" club has long been known among military-historical reenactment enthusiasts. The many years of experience in restoring retro equipment and the passion of the leader allow the team to regularly participate in major festivals—not only in Tatarstan but also in other regions of Russia.
The performance at "Elbäden-2026" became yet another opportunity for Bavly reenactors to showcase their professionalism.
