A unified schedule has been introduced in schools, and the educational program has been fully synchronized with the OGE and EGE. It is these changes that allowed the Unified State Exam to be conducted in a regular mode and without serious violations. There are certain positive trends. This includes an increase in the share of students choosing natural science subjects, as well as an increase in the average score in natural science subjects and, importantly, a decrease in the share of participants who did not meet the minimum thresholds," noted Sergey Kravtsov.

      In the 2025/26 academic year, compared to last year, key indicators such as the average score and the share of high scorers increased in almost all subjects. This year, 76 and 8 people received 300 and 400 points on the EGE, respectively. Over 9,000 people scored more than 100 points in Russia.

      A total of nearly 750,000 people participated in the main period of the EGE this year, including more than 663,000 graduates of the current year. The exam took place in 89 subjects of the Russian Federation and in 54 foreign countries. More than 6,000 examination points (PPE) were involved in conducting the EGE. The organization of the exams was ensured by over 300,000 PPE workers and about 5,000 medical workers. Monitoring of the EGE process was conducted by about 36,000 public observers.

      Sergey Kravtsov added that this year the 704th order was in effect, which practically completed the regulatory and legal framework for creating a unified educational space in the country. It also regulated the amount of time allocated for control work, which should take no more than 10% of the total time. Systematic training of teaching staff is underway. As of June 29, 2026, the total number of applications to pedagogical universities exceeded 75,000, surpassing the 2025 figure of 70,000, including over 67,000 applications for bachelor's degree programs.

      In turn, the system of secondary vocational education today flexibly and promptly responds to the staffing needs of the economy, ensuring the training of qualified personnel for our country. Colleges are currently in high demand. 63% of ninth-graders chose them as a starting point for a successful career. With the support of the United Russia party, systematic modernization of secondary vocational education continues. Thanks to the President's decision to allocate 30 billion rubles, the federal project "Professionalitet" has been created and is actively developing, which has become the locomotive for updating the system of secondary vocational education.
