Wildberries plans to increase commissions for sellers in certain product categories starting July 7. According to the marketplace's press service, the reason for this is the increased logistics costs amid rising fuel prices. According to expert estimates, the increase will range from 5 to 20%, reports "Kommersant." The company emphasized that the changes will be selective in nature. — Some product categories will see a reduction in commissions, while others will remain unchanged, the press service reported. The analytical service Wildbox noted that the most significant increase in costs will affect sellers who use the platform as a showcase and organize delivery themselves. For them, the commission will increase by 20%. For sellers who sell goods from their warehouses, the increase will be about 6%, and for those who use Wildberries warehouses, it will be around 5%. The CEO of the "MySklad" service, Askar Rakhimberdiev, warned that the increase in tariffs will negatively impact both sellers and buyers, as additional costs are often passed on to the final price of goods. According to Wildbox's estimates, the price of about 90% of goods on the platform may increase.

Rakhimberdiev noted that the increase in commissions could intensify pressure on small and medium-sized businesses and provoke a withdrawal of sellers from the platform. Today, he said, the total costs for sellers on marketplaces account for 50–70% of revenue, including commissions, logistics, storage, advertising, and returns. The Association of Electronic Commerce calculated that over the past three years, logistics costs have increased by 33–89%, while platform commissions have risen by 58–63%.
At the same time, analysts believe it is too early to talk about the full impact of fuel prices on the online trading market. The General Director of "Infoline-Analytics," Mikhail Burmistrov, reminded that logistics remains one of the key expense items for marketplaces, and large companies usually adapt their business processes in advance to changes in the market.
The increase in commissions occurs against the backdrop of a slowdown in the dynamics of Russian e-commerce. According to Infoline, by the end of 2025, the total turnover of the largest platforms — Wildberries, Ozon, and "Yandex.Market" — will reach 8.59 trillion rubles, which is 32.2% more than the previous year. In contrast, in 2024, growth was 56.2%.
It is worth noting that more than 30 regions of Russia have already imposed restrictions on fuel sales due to supply disruptions that began in late May. Since June 26, "Rosneft" has limited sales in the Voronezh, Tambov, and Lipetsk regions — no more than 30 liters per vehicle. In Tatarstan, Udmurtia, the Nizhny Novgorod region, and some other regions, restrictions apply at certain gas stations or within certain networks, without official decisions from authorities.
Earlier, it was reported that Wildberries acquired "Eapteka."
