      Recently, there have been increasing cases of calls to residents of the republic on behalf of the Social Fund. Fraudsters demand to provide a code for "identity verification," threatening to revoke pensions in case of refusal. The scammers call the landline numbers of pensioners and in an ultimatum form offer to make an appointment with the client service, claiming that the citizen's surname is on the list of people with insufficient insurance experience. They assert that the conversation must be recorded, and appointment vouchers for this issue are not issued. In response to a refusal to provide personal data, threats of pension deprivation follow. Employees of the Social Fund never request passport data, SNILS, or codes from SMS over the phone. All issues related to pension provision and insurance experience are resolved only through the personal appeal of the citizen to the client service with documents. There are no "lists" of surnames requiring urgent registration. The branch of the Social Fund for the Republic of Tatarstan strongly recommends not to engage in dialogue with unknown individuals, not to disclose personal data, and not to call back the numbers provided by scammers. If a suspicious call is received, it is necessary to immediately terminate the conversation and contact the police. "Any calls threatening pension deprivation and demanding personal data are fraud. Employees of the Social Fund do not call citizens with such demands. We ask residents of the republic to be vigilant and not to succumb to provocations," noted the manager of the branch of the Social Fund for the Republic of Tatarstan, Eduard Vafin.
