The payment discipline in the republic continues to strengthen. From January to May of this year, the collection rate for housing and communal services reached 98.3% – this is 0.3 percentage points higher than in the same period of 2025. Such data was provided by the Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Aizatullin. The average annual indicator for the last 12 months amounted to 99.5% – an increase of 0.2% compared to last year. At the same time, more and more citizens are switching to cashless payments: the share of electronic payments has already exceeded 82%. In May of this year, the collection rate was at 98%, which is 1% lower than in May of last year; however, the overall trend remains positive.
