Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Tatarstan courtyard at Sabantuy in Mordovia.

      The Nurlat district continued the tradition of holding Sabantuy in the Republic of Mordovia. This year, the celebration took place in the village of Aksenovo in the Lyambir district – a place of compact residence for Tatars. A large delegation from Nurlat arrived on Mordovian soil to support the local Sabantuy and to introduce guests to the culture, lifestyle, and traditions of the people of Tatarstan. The festive area organized by the Nurlat residents was not much inferior to the Sabantuy in their homeland, except for its scale. Here, a real field camp, a beehive, and a traditional Tatar house with a household were set up. Lines quickly formed at the masters conducting applied workshops. The atmosphere on the site became particularly lively with the arrival of honored guests led by the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. The leaders of the two regions inspected each location, showing interest in the life of the Nurlat district. Officials paid great attention to the booths of the public organization "Combat Brotherhood" and the fund "Everything for Victory Nurlat," where exhibitions of equipment, trophies, and more were presented. Guests familiarized themselves with the exhibition of products that Nurlat volunteers make for the fighters of the special military operation. Rustam Minnikhanov left his signature on the flags of the organizations. Overall, the guests of the courtyard actively participated in the charitable prize draw from the volunteers, took photos in numerous photo zones, and at the topiary in the shape of a horse – the symbol of the city of Nurlat. "The Nurlat and Lyambir districts have long been connected by strong friendship. This is the fourth time we are holding Sabantuy here. The Nurlat delegation arrived in an organized manner, and the courtyard is beautifully arranged. Everyone is in a good mood, and the celebration is organized at the highest level," shared the head of the Nurlat district, Damir Ishkineev. Within the framework of Sabantuy, horse races and All-Russian competitions in Kuresh wrestling took place. Nurlat heroes showed excellent results in their age categories: Rafis Guzayev took 1st place, Almir Guzayev and Almaz Mustafin won 2nd places, while Rinas Guzayev took 3rd place. Every year, the residents of Nurlat find ways to surprise the guests of Sabantuy in Mordovia. This time, the main surprise was a giant 247-kilogram baursak. The cooks revealed the secret of its preparation: the culinary masterpiece required 150 kg of flour, 600 eggs, 86 kg of sugar, and 24 liters of water for the syrup. Traditionally, after the official part, everyone who wished could enjoy the treat, and the celebration continued with a vibrant concert program.
