       According to the results of the past six months, 2 million square meters of housing have been delivered in Tatarstan, and the construction plan has been fulfilled by 63 percent. The majority of new constructions consist of private houses.

       In the Republic of Tatarstan, during the first six months of 2026, the construction sector is demonstrating accelerated rates of residential real estate delivery, having already crossed the psychological mark of 2 million square meters. As reported by Damir Shaidullin, the first deputy minister of construction, architecture, and housing and communal services of the Republic of Tatarstan, more than 2 million square meters of housing have been put into operation since the beginning of the year, which constitutes 63 percent of the approved minimum annual plan, writes RBC. The lion's share of the delivered areas – over 1.1 million square meters – falls within the segment of individual housing construction, where the plan has been fulfilled by 58 percent. In the commercial multi-apartment construction sector, the figures are even higher: the annual plan has been fulfilled by 74 percent, and developers have already delivered 84 multi-apartment buildings with a total area of about 777 thousand square meters. Under the social mortgage program, 33 houses with an area of over 82 thousand square meters have been built since the beginning of the year, fulfilling 55 percent of the plan. The minimum plan for 2026 is set at 3.175 million square meters. A few days ago, it was reported that a dangerous pesticide, which poses a threat to human health and is also dangerous for bees, was found in 4.5 thousand tons of feed wheat in Tatarstan. It was specified that the tested samples of the 2025 wheat harvest were taken in the Chistopol and Alekseyevsky districts of the republic.
