      The unified federal chat of the Committee of Families of Warriors of the Fatherland for providing medical and psychological support to families and participants of the special military operation begins its work in a new community on the social network VKontakte. Since June 2026, a service has been launched on the Russian platform VKontakte for security purposes. Now participants of the special military operation, combat veterans, their family members, as well as relatives of fallen defenders of the Fatherland from any region of the country can seek help in the project's community via the link: https://vk.com/ksvo_medhelp. Support is provided free of charge, anonymously, around the clock, and without the request for personal data. Over two years of operation, the unified federal chat has processed more than 35,000 individual requests by medical specialists. More than 25,000 people from various regions of Russia have already joined the community. "We see a steady demand for digital assistance formats, so that one does not have to visit a medical organization in person, explain their situation to strangers, or worry about being recognized. We do not use artificial intelligence: our chat is a live communication between the applicant and the specialist," comments the chat coordinator, member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, head of the federal project "Health Control" Yevgeny Martynov. The chat is staffed by a team of experienced medical and clinical psychologists. Specialists help cope with anxiety, emotional burnout, grief, stress, panic reactions, and other psychologically complex situations. "Psychological help is often needed here and now. It is important for us to assist everyone who experiences anxiety, fear, stress, emotional tension, or other severe conditions. Support is available around the clock, regardless of the region of residence and time zone. It is very important that one can contact us anonymously — we do not require the disclosure of personal data. For many, this has become an additional factor of trust and demand for such a format of assistance," notes the head of the Committee of Families of Warriors of the Fatherland Yulia Belekhova. The project is implemented by the Committee of Families of Warriors of the Fatherland and the "Social Sphere" Foundation (the team of the federal project "Health Control") with the support of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation since 2024.
