      The State Council of Tatarstan recognized the positive experience of the main carrier of Naberezhnye Chelny, the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "City Transport," in implementing digital technologies in managing transport flows, logistics, and personnel development. The issue was discussed today at an off-site meeting of two committees of the regional parliament in the automotive city – the committee on economy, investments, and entrepreneurship, as well as the committee on housing policy and infrastructure development. The digital transformation of the transport system in Tatarstan and the preparation of IT personnel according to industry demands became key topics for discussion. The reports were presented by the general director of the municipal enterprise Ildar Gizatullin and the Minister of Transport and Road Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Farit Khamifov. The deputies were also shown the work of the enterprise. The parliamentarians proposed that the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Digital Development of Tatarstan develop and implement a mechanism for systematizing and monitoring the requirements of transport organizations for the competencies and qualifications of IT specialists. The Ministry of Education of Tatarstan and transport companies should create modular training programs tailored to the tasks of transport digitalization; open competence centers based on educational institutions and implement dual training with employers; monitor the demand for IT specialists quarterly to adjust programs; attract private investors (including through public-private partnerships) with the assistance of the Ministry of Economy and the Agency for Investment Development of Tatarstan. Another interim result is the creation of a single regional operator for passenger transportation and the integration of data into a single digital platform. The committees of the State Council of Tatarstan will continue to monitor legislation in the field of transport digitalization and prepare proposals for its improvement if necessary.
