The fire hazard class in the forests of Tatarstan has increased.

      In Tatarstan, the third class of fire danger has been established in the forests. Since the beginning of the year, 239 thermal points and 190 fires have been registered in the republic in areas bordering the forest fund. As reported by the first deputy minister of forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ilgizar Zaripov, no fires have been recorded on the lands of the forest fund in 2026 so far. The situation is monitored using satellite, aerial, and ground surveillance. The Ministry of Forestry of Tatarstan reminds about the ban on burning garbage and dry grass, making bonfires in unauthorized places, using pyrotechnics, and discarding unextinguished cigarette butts. The reduction of forest fire areas is one of the target indicators of the regional project "Forest Conservation in the Republic of Tatarstan," part of the federal project "Forest Conservation" under the national project "Ecological Well-Being."
