      The event took place as part of the "Family Week" and was dedicated to the Day of Love, Family, and Fidelity.

      Today in Kazan, as part of the celebration of the Day of Love, Family, and Fidelity at the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan, 14 couples were awarded the medal "For Love and Fidelity." An immersive tour and festive program were prepared for the honorees. The Deputy Head of Kazan, Guzel Sagitova, participated in the award ceremony.

      "I am convinced that the city is primarily homes, and homes are, of course, families. Thank you all! A low bow from us – from the middle generation, and from the young, and from the very children – for being able to preserve these warm relationships. We often forget about the most important things in the hustle and bustle of days and cares. After all, family is the most important thing. We work for the family, we do everything only for our dearest people," said Guzel Sagitova. During the solemn ceremony, couples who are the pride of the city's professional community were awarded – honored workers of culture, education, city enterprises, representatives of labor dynasties, as well as veterans of combat actions.

      On this day, among the awardees were the Gerasevs, Fedulovs, Berdnikovs, Emelkins, Kulchitskys, Balyasovs, Anisimovs-Solyanovs, Bagaevs, and Akhmetzyanovs. All of them have worked for the benefit of the city and the republic for many years.

      In addition, the Tatarstan branch of the All-Russian public organization "Young Guard of United Russia" congratulated three families, including Konstantin Anatolyevich and Lyudmila Anatolyevna Khizhnyak, Ilnur Vakhtovich and Gulgena Gabdulbarovna Shigapov, and Farid Marselievich and Gulnaz Gabdulkhayevna Mulyukov. Among the awardees are Riman Sultanovich and Farida Valievna Gilemhanov, who are celebrating their 54th wedding anniversary this year.

      Riman Sultanovich is an honored worker of culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, a member of the Union of Writers and the Union of Journalists of the republic. He currently works as a journalist for the newspaper "Vatanım Tatarstan." In 2024, he became the holder of the Grand Prix of the XXVII competition in the field of journalism and mass media of Tatarstan "Crystal Feather." Riman Sultanovich is proud to be a descendant of the great Gabdulla Tukay through his maternal line.

      Farida Valievna began her career at the Kazan Compressor Plant and dedicated more than 25 years to working in local government. Farida Valievna headed the Civil Registry Office of the Vakhitovsky District of Kazan, and since 2007 she has held the position of Deputy Head of the Civil Registry Office of the city. For her many years of impeccable service, Farida Valievna has been awarded numerous awards and commendations. Together, the Gilemhanovs have raised a son and are happy with two grandsons.

      When asked about the secret of family happiness, the Gilemhanovs reply: "Well, first of all, it is a great happiness that we met each other in our time. Then we were able to preserve this happiness of meeting, the happiness of living together, the happiness of having a child."

      The spouses Shamil Khadiullovich and Ravilya Shamilovna Shaidullins are celebrating their 53rd wedding anniversary this year. The spouses have succeeded in their professions: Shamil Khadiullovich is the Deputy General Director for Trade and Regime of the Production and Trade Association of the Ministry of Forestry of Tatarstan, while Ravilya Shamilovna is an honored worker of trade of Tatarstan, a master chef of the Russian Federation, an author of books in the Tatar language, and a member of the Union of Writers of Tatarstan. But their main achievement, the Shaidullins say, is their family: two children and seven grandchildren.

      The Shaidullins build their family happiness on love, respect, and patience. "Nowadays, young people sometimes lack patience. After all, life is such a long, complicated thing. And if you don't learn to forgive each other's small mistakes – and they happen to everyone – it will be difficult to go through it together. Patience is what is truly important," the Shaidullins note.

      The event was made more solemn by creative performances prepared by the House of Friendship of the Peoples of Tatarstan. An immersive tour of the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan was also conducted for the couples.

      The event was organized by the Civil Registry Office of Kazan in collaboration with the House of Friendship of the Peoples of Tatarstan. The ceremony was also attended by the head of the Civil Registry Office, Elena Studenikina, the deputy head of the Civil Registry Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan, Danis Salakhutdinov, and the general director of the National Museum of Tatarstan, Ayrat Faizrakhmanov.

      Let us remind you that the honoring of 14 couples is held as part of the "Family Week," timed to the Day of Family, Love, and Fidelity. More than 100 events are planned in the city, honoring anniversary couples, large families, educational, cultural, and labor dynasties, and families of participants in the special military operation.
