More than 200 million rubles have been allocated for doubled benefits for those who gave birth in rural areas of Tatarstan.

      In the budget of Tatarstan for 2026, 211.8 million rubles are allocated for the payment of doubled benefits to women who have given birth and permanently live in rural areas or urban-type settlements. This was reported by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan. It is worth noting that the amounts of payments have doubled. When giving birth to the first child, women under 25 now receive 100,000 rubles instead of 50,000. For the birth of a third and subsequent children, women under 29 receive 200,000 rubles instead of 100,000. The main condition for both categories is to have lived in the rural areas of Tatarstan for at least three years before applying for the payment. The increase in benefits is aimed at supporting young families, increasing birth rates, and retaining the population in rural areas. The payment can be arranged at social protection agencies or in multifunctional centers. The resolution comes into effect after official publication and is valid from January 1, 2026.
