Visit of Raisa of the Republic of Tatarstan to Kazan Cooperative Institute

      The Kazan Cooperative Institute was visited by the Head of Tatarstan, the leadership of the Central Union of Consumer Societies of the Russian Federation, and the President of the International Cooperative Alliance. On July 9, the Kazan Cooperative Institute (a branch of the Russian University of Cooperation) was visited by the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Chairman of the Council of the Central Union of Consumer Societies of the Russian Federation Dmitry Zubov, and the President of the International Cooperative Alliance Ariel Guarco. The delegation was accompanied by the rector of the Russian University of Cooperation Alsu Nabieva.

      The opening of the technopark "RUK-Infotech" took place at the institute — a modern platform for developing digital solutions and training specialists in the field of information technology and high-tech industries. During the visit, Alsu Nabieva presented a new laboratory complex created for training personnel in the field of digital technologies, information security, and engineering disciplines. Special attention was paid to laboratories for unmanned aerial systems, computer network security, computer design, and esports, where students gain practical skills in working with modern equipment and technologies.

      A meeting was held at the Center for Tatar Culture of the institute with representatives of the Women's Business Alliance of BRICS in the Volga Federal District, featuring the chairwoman of the Russian part of the alliance Anna Nesterova and State Council Deputy of Tatarstan Irina Vasilyevna Terentyeva. The delegation also visited the Sber space, created to develop students' entrepreneurial competencies and support educational initiatives.

      As part of the visit, the mobile complex "RUK – mobile" was presented — an outreach admissions committee of the Russian University of Cooperation. The project allows for career guidance work, consulting applicants, and accepting documents for admission directly in municipal districts and remote settlements.

      The program continued with a round table titled "Bridge of Generations: Global University — Mentors and Veterans of Cooperation," which brought together leaders of the cooperative system, industry veterans, and representatives of the younger generation. Participants discussed issues of generational continuity, preservation of cooperative traditions, personnel training, and development of international cooperation in the field of cooperative education.

      The visit took place as part of the International Forum on Consumer Cooperation "Youth of Cooperation: Uniting Resources for Industry Development," which is being held in Kazan from July 8 to 10.
