The readiness of sports facilities "PHYZRA" in Tatarstan has reached over 95%.

      The cost of each complex is estimated at 350 million rubles. In Tatarstan, the construction of two new physical culture and health facilities "FIZRA Sports Center" in Kazan and Zelenodolsk is nearing completion. The construction is being financed with private funds as part of the federal initiative "Business Sprint (I Choose Sport)" and the state program "Sport of Russia," the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic reports. The Deputy Minister of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan, Almaz Khusainov, emphasized that it is fundamentally important for the region to make physical activities accessible not only to residents of megacities but also to the population of district centers. The already operational complexes in Almetyevsk and Naberezhnye Chelny, as well as the facilities under construction in Kazan and Zelenodolsk, will provide thousands of Tatarstan residents the opportunity to train in modern conditions close to home. According to him, the alliance of the state and business is aimed at encouraging the residents of the republic to regularly engage in sports and maintain a healthy lifestyle. The construction and installation work on both facilities is nearly complete, and they are scheduled to be commissioned by the end of 2026. The investor is the company "FIZRA," with the cost of each complex estimated at 350 million rubles. After opening, visitors will have access to football, volleyball, basketball, and martial arts classes. The republic already has successful experience in implementing similar projects based on public-private partnerships. In 2023-2024, two identical "FIZRA" centers were opened in Almetyevsk and Naberezhnye Chelny under a similar scheme. Tatarstan has become one of the first Russian regions where public-private partnership mechanisms for sports infrastructure have begun to be applied systematically. This approach allows for the creation of a network of modern sports facilities within walking distance, without placing an excessive burden on the budgets of regional and municipal levels.
