This was reported today at a staff meeting by the acting head of the city police department, Igor Ovsov. Every day from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, police officers and municipal employees are on duty at the embankments of Tabejeva and Tukaya. Additionally, extra patrol routes are provided for these areas. Police crews visit these locations at least once every three hours. All popular public spaces are connected to the "Safe City" system. Surveillance cameras are linked to the duty stations of police departments and the city police management, where specialists monitor the situation in real-time. Special attention is paid to teenagers during the summer. On Fridays from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM, preventive raids involving juvenile inspectors are conducted in the city to prevent offenses among children and teenagers. "A separate issue is ensuring public order. The weather is favorable, and many mass events involving citizens, children, and teenagers are taking place in public spaces. Heads of districts, this concerns you as well," addressed the mayor of Chelny, Nail Magdeev, to those responsible. "In the second half of July and in August, the traditional 'Courtyard Holidays' take place, and the culture department organizes numerous events: performances by Igor Lerman's chamber orchestra, theater groups, dance ensembles, and open screenings of films and cartoons. All of this must, of course, be under special control. The public order management and district officers need to strengthen control over citizens' behavior in parks and squares."
