      On July 12, at the foot of the "Kashka-tau" mountain in the Bagryazhsky rural settlement, the folk holiday of the Kryashens "Pitrau-2026" took place. The history of the holiday dates back to ancient centuries. On one hand, it is one of the most memorable days for Orthodox believers, and on the other hand, it is a celebration honoring Mother Nature. The holiday includes a theatrical performance, performances by folklore groups, the "Pitrau chibäre" contest, and folk games. Traditionally, on Peter's Day, people would visit each other and host guests. Today, before the opening of the main Kryashen holiday "Pitrau-2026," the Head of the district, Razif Karimov, along with honored guests, visited the fields of the agricultural cooperative "Bagryazh" (Agrofirma Vostok). Then, as part of the festive events, the guests visited national homesteads, where the traditions and culture of the ancestors and unique products of Zainsk craftsmen were presented. Various platforms were also active. Everyone could find an activity to their liking. Fans of active recreation participated in folk games and contests, competing in sports competitions. The Head of the Zainsky District, Razif Karimov, congratulated all Zainsk residents and guests of the event on Peter's Day. He conveyed warm congratulations from the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, on the occasion of the holiday. Greetings were also delivered by State Duma Deputy Anatoly Ivanov, Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Chairman of the Board of the Public Organization of Kryashens of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ivan Egorov. Distinguished awards were given to leaders and public figures who made significant contributions to the development of the cultural heritage of the Kryashens, the organizers of the holiday, and active residents of the district. The Head of the Zainsky Municipal District expressed gratitude for fruitful cooperation, high professionalism, and invaluable contributions to the preservation of the cultural heritage of the Zainsky District to Ivan Mikhailovich Egorov, Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Board of the Public Organization of Kryashens of the Republic of Tatarstan, and to Ivan Nikolayevich Gushchin, curator from the government of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites. For participation in the traditional Kryashen holiday "Pitrau-2026" in the Zainsky Municipal District, folk folklore ensembles from the Menzelinsk and Almetyevsk districts and the city of Naberezhnye Chelny were awarded with letters of appreciation from the Head of the Zainsky Municipal District.

      Also, following a good tradition on Peter's Day, memorable gifts were presented to the older generation, jubilee couples who have lived a long life together, newlyweds, and parents of newborn children. The winner of the "Pitrau chibäre" contest was Kuzmina Alevtina. She was awarded a crown, a winner's ribbon, and a gift certificate. The festive evening was decorated with bright creative performances by talented artists, ensembles, and groups from the districts, as well as honored and folk artists of the republic. The event concluded with a festive bonfire and the leading of a "friendship of peoples" round dance, uniting people of different generations and nationalities.
