The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation has not developed or approved any documents containing recommendations on specific types of food products or clothing colors for children. The agency has not made any official statements on the topics that have been actively discussed in the information space recently. The initiatives attributed to the Ministry are an incorrect interpretation or unreliable information. We would like to emphasize that the area of competence of the Ministry of Education of Russia is the development of state educational standards, educational programs, and methodological recommendations directly related to the organization of educational and upbringing activities. Our focus is on issues related to the formation of the child's personality, their socialization, patriotic education, as well as the creation of a safe and comfortable educational environment. As for the topics of healthy eating, hygiene standards, or recommendations regarding appearance, these issues fall under the jurisdiction of relevant agencies. We urge journalists and bloggers to carefully verify information before publication and to seek official comments from the press service of the Ministry of Education of Russia to avoid the dissemination of false information.
