Holiday in honor of eternal life: the Day of the Spring-2026 is taking place in Middle Devyatovo.

      The village of Srednee Devyatovo has immersed itself in an atmosphere of unity, spirituality, and celebration. The event, which gathered hundreds of guests, demonstrated how traditions, faith, and the feats of fellow countrymen become the foundation for the future.

      The bells are ringing, the fountain is shining, and competitions are already underway on the sports ground. At this moment, the Day of the Spring - 2026 is taking place in the village of Srednee Devyatovo — a grand celebration dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. Locals and guests gathered at the legendary spring to celebrate the age-old tradition, interethnic unity, and the spiritual strength of this place. What’s on the program? ⏰ 13:00 — bicycle and motorcycle race 🏐 14:00 — volleyball tournament 🥋 14:30 — national wrestling competitions (koresh) 🎭 16:00 — concert marathon 🖌️ Workshops and exhibitions In the IT workshop from IT PARK Kazan, children and adults learn to create simple games and mobile applications. In the pottery workshop, they mold clay toys, and in the painting studio, they paint landscapes of the Motherland. The handmade exhibition features ceramic products, embroidery, and wooden items. 💡 The highlight of the evening is the water show. At 21:30 on the river, a grand show of water lanterns "Make a Wish" is prepared, and at 22:30, the main program of the celebration will conclude.

      Symbol of unity: the legend of the blind elder and the healing water

      According to legend, more than 300 years ago, a spring gushed near the village of Srednee Devyatovo, the water of which does not freeze in winter and does not dry up in summer. Legend has it that one day in the forest, a girl named Varvara helped an elderly man who was dying and abandoned by his children. She brought him water from the spring, and the old man was healed. "The living one — gives life. Where the spring lives — there the village does not die," says the local proverb. Today, the water from this source is soft, tasty, and many consider it healing. It flows into the Tevkech River, and the spring itself was consecrated and arranged back in 2008. Recently, in 2024, a church in the name of Alexius, the man of God, was consecrated next to it.

      Why is the water special here? The temperature is always the same — in summer and winter. Soft and tasty, it is used for drinking. Its healing properties help in treatment.

      The temple at the place of power In 2022, the first stone of the future temple was laid here, and in 2024, the metropolitan consecrated it. Today, this is a place of pilgrimage where people come for spiritual support.

      Who made the celebration possible? "Thirty-six churches and chapels have been built by our hands in Tatarstan thanks to such people," noted Alexey Demidov. Benefactors and patrons played a key role in the development of the village: - Alexey Demidov (Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the RT) — initiator of the construction of the temple and the arrangement of the spring. - Ramis Kabirov (Director of OAO "Alexeyevskaya Ceramics") — invested funds in infrastructure. - Ildus Zaripov (Head of the district) — supports the initiatives of the village. - Alexey Kurmyshkin — author of the anthem of Srednee Devyatovo. And many others, without whose participation the celebration would not have had such scale and beauty.
