A 37-year-old resident of Tatarstan is accused of causing serious harm to the health of her 5-year-old son by negligence. This was reported by the Investigative Committee for the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the investigation, the incident occurred on December 27, 2025, in one of the villages of the Verkhneuslonsky district. The woman, while being in the kitchen with her son near a working gas boiler, decided to spray an air freshener. The aerosol can was faulty, and she decided to puncture it with a knife. This led to the ignition of the mixture, resulting in the child suffering severe burns. The boy was only saved thanks to timely qualified medical assistance. The criminal case has been sent to court.
