      From July 27, Tatarstan and five other regions will be connected by a high-speed river route. This was announced by the government of Nizhny Novgorod region and the operator of the river fleet "Vodoley." — "Such a composite route allows passengers to travel both between the final points and between intermediate stops," the river fleet operator told Kommersant. The first "Meteor" will depart on the route Nizhny Novgorod — Kazan — Sarapul — Perm. On the section from Kazan to Sarapul, the vessel will make stops in Chistopol, Nizhnekamsk, Yelabuga, and Naberezhnye Chelny. In Sarapul, the "Meteor" will dock for the night, and the next day it will continue its journey to Perm with stops in Chaykovsky, Ust-Kachka, and Krasnokamsk. From Perm, tourists will be able to return along the same route.

      It was previously reported that the project to extend the high-speed railway line from Moscow to Nizhny Novgorod and Kazan has received all necessary approvals.
