The Republican Rehabilitation Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations named after Sh.S. Karatay — the creator of the territorial emergency medical service and the first chairman of the republican Council of Supporters of "United Russia" — was the first in Tatarstan to start accepting parents and widows of fallen participants of the special military operation for rehabilitation. The center has a modern medical base and provides consultative, diagnostic, and preventive assistance to patients. The main task of the center is to provide medical-psychological and medical-social assistance, not leaving people alone with their pain and experiences. Qualified psychologists work with the participants under the guidance of Professor Anatoly Karpov. The specialists of the center help not only to restore physical health but also to support mental well-being. The team of doctors is led by a member of the republican Council of Supporters, the honored doctor of Tatarstan, Roza Karatay. In July, specialists from the center visited the districts of the republic — Vysokogorsky, Laishevsky, Alexeyevsky, Rybnaya Sloboda, and Pestrechinsky. There, they met with chief doctors, medical institution teams, military commissioners, and representatives of the Defender of the Fatherland Funds. The center's staff also introduced colleagues to the institution's activities through a film from the series "About Everything and Everyone," dedicated to rehabilitation and the work of the center. The main goal of these meetings is to convey the mission of the center to local leaders and ensure that no family of fallen participants of the special military operation is left unattended.
