      On the morning of July 24, a worker died at the solid waste landfill in the Buinsky district. The driver of the transporter is blamed for his death. A criminal case has been opened against him under the article "causing death by negligence due to improper performance of one's professional duties" (which carries a penalty of up to 3 years in prison), reports the investigative committee of Tatarstan.

      According to the investigation, the driver did not ensure the safety of his actions when opening the lid of the bunker of the equipment he was operating while working at the landfill. It was this lid that caused injuries to his colleague. The injuries were so severe that he died at the scene before the arrival of the ambulance.
