The fire occurred in the evening in the village of Bolshoye Kobyakovo in the Zubtsovsky district, reported the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to the agency, the fire engulfed 30 structures over an area of about 2,000 square meters. Firefighters managed to save 10 objects. A total of 34 specialists and 9 units of equipment participated in extinguishing the fire. Open flames have already been extinguished, and efforts are ongoing to cool down and dismantle the structures. Preliminary information indicates that there are no casualties. As reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the preliminary cause of the fire was a violation of fire safety rules during the use of pyrotechnics during the filming process. According to the Telegram channel SHOT, the fire completely destroyed the decorations that recreated the white-stone Moscow of the 16th century for the film "The Battle of Molodi." Previously, historical film "Evil City" and the series "Prince Andrei" were filmed at the same site. The film "The Battle of Molodi," which is set to premiere in 2027, tells the story of the battle near the village of Molodi in 1572. The film is directed by Konstantin Buslov, with leading roles played by Mikhail Porechenkov, Nikita Kologrivyy, Pyotr Rykov, Alexander Ustyugov, and Fyodor Lavrov.
