How to arrange a payment of up to 10,000 rubles
Since the beginning of this year, more than five thousand residents of the Republic of Tatarstan have successfully arranged a one-time payment of the remaining part of the maternity capital, provided that this amount does not exceed 10,000 rubles. This support measure is provided regardless of the family's income level and the children's ages. The amount of the payment strictly corresponds to the actual balance of funds on the certificate at the time of application submission, but not more than the established limit. The money received can be spent by parents on any household needs without the need to report to the government. To receive the funds, the certificate holder must submit the appropriate application through the "Gosuslugi" portal or personally visit the client service of the Social Fund of Russia (SFR) in the region. The document verification procedure takes up to 12 working days, and the subsequent transfer of money is carried out within five working days. When submitting the application, it is critically important to indicate a bank account registered solely in the name of the certificate holder; the details of a spouse or other relatives are not accepted for this purpose.
Current information about the amount of unspent balance can be obtained independently by ordering a statement through the personal account on the government services portal, contacting the SFR office, or visiting any multifunctional center (MFC).
The head of the SFR branch in the Republic of Tatarstan, Eduard Vafin, reminded that this year the amount of maternity capital for the first child is set at 728,921 rubles, and for the second child — 963,243 rubles. Traditionally, these funds can be used to improve housing conditions, pay for children's education, form a mother's pension savings, or receive monthly payments for children under three years old. However, legislation also provides for a simplified mechanism: if a small amount remains in the account (up to 10,000 rubles), the family has the full right to cash it out in a single payment and dispose of the money at their discretion.
