In Tatarstan, four new schools with a total capacity of 1,692 places are planned to open by September 1. These institutions are located in Agryz, Buinsk, Menzelinsk, and the village of Manzaras in the Kukmor district. This was announced at a meeting by the head of the republic, Rustam Minnikhanov. Two additional school buildings in Bugulma are also planned to be commissioned. Construction of a school in the residential complex "Yubileynaya Station" in Kazan is ongoing. As part of state programs, major repairs are being carried out on 128 general education facilities.

Currently, all facilities are at a high level of readiness, noted Minnikhanov. He instructed the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Education and Science, as well as the heads of municipal entities, to ensure quality preparation of educational organizations for the new academic year.
The head of Tatarstan emphasized that on September 1, more than 44,000 children will enter the first grade. A total of 512,000 students from general education organizations will sit at their desks.
"Our task is to create a reliable environment for organizing the educational process and favorable conditions for the development of children," he noted.
Earlier, Minnikhanov stated that by 2029, all districts of Tatarstan will be equipped with covered ice arenas.
