The corresponding positive dynamics were noted by the Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan – Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Oleg Korobchenko during a meeting with the Consul General of the Republic of India in Kazan, Mr. Jaysundhar, as reported by the press service of his department. "The relations between Tatarstan and India are dynamically developing and promising. Our foreign trade turnover for 2025 exceeded 353 million dollars. And in the first quarter of this year, it increased more than two times compared to the same period last year," noted the head of the regional Ministry of Industry and Trade. "A large part of the foreign trade turnover consists of exports from Tatarstan to India. I am confident that the full potential of cooperation has not been revealed, and today's meeting confirms our intention to deepen interaction," added Korobchenko. The further conversation between the Tatarstan minister and the Indian diplomat was dedicated to the directions of further cooperation. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan added that the development of relations with India contributes to achieving the goals of the national project "International Cooperation and Export." National projects in Russia are large-scale state programs aimed at developing key areas of public life.
