Since the beginning of the year, 2.6 million square meters of housing have been commissioned in Tatarstan.

      About 2 million 618 thousand square meters of housing have been put into operation in Tatarstan since the beginning of the year. The overall construction program plan has been completed by 83%. This was reported at a meeting in the Government House of Tatarstan by the Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Utilities of the Republic, Marat Aizatullin. The meeting was chaired by the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, as reported by the press service of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.

      Within the framework of commercial construction, 84% of the planned volume has been completed – 99 apartment buildings with a total area of 875 thousand square meters. Under the social mortgage program, the annual plan has been completed by 60%. The construction of 34 houses with an area of more than 90 thousand square meters has been completed.

      In the framework of individual housing construction, 1 million 652 thousand square meters of housing have been completed, which is 84% of the plan. Aizatullin also spoke about the implementation of programs to provide housing for certain categories of citizens. This year, 641 orphaned children are expected to receive housing. To date, two state contracts have been signed for 195 residential premises. The apartments designated for orphaned children are located in 45 under-construction apartment buildings.

      Among large families raising five or more children, there are 22 recipients of housing certificates this year. Fourteen of them have already redeemed certificates for a total area of 1 thousand 543 square meters. For the remaining eight recipients, the State Housing Fund of Tatarstan is selecting apartments. In the category of young families, there are 61 recipients. Subsidies have already been used by 46 families, while the others continue to search for suitable apartments in the housing market.

      This year, three families of forced migrants from the Far North and Chernobyl victims are also expected to receive housing. Two families have already purchased suitable residential premises. In Tatarstan, the implementation of programs for the construction of social facilities, improvement of public spaces, and modernization of engineering infrastructure continues.

      The republican program to support housing construction includes 14 facilities. Construction work on road arrangements has been completed by 49%. For six water supply facilities, the plan has been completed by 63%. The construction of general education institutions has been completed by 87%, and preschool educational institutions by 68%.

      In Kazan, the construction of an admission and diagnostic department of the hospital continues. The readiness of the facility is 57%. In the field of sports, 14 facilities will be implemented this year, and in the field of culture, seven are planned to be built.

      As part of the national project "Ecological Well-Being," the reclamation of sludge fields in Kazan continues. 95% of the planned work has been completed. This year, 51 public spaces will be improved in Tatarstan. Currently, work is underway in 45 areas across 36 municipalities of the republic. The readiness is 52%.

      In the last two weeks, work has been completed on four facilities in the Nizhnekamsk, Buinsky, Alkeyevsky, and Muslyumovsky districts. A total of six facilities have been completed. The modernization of engineering infrastructure in Tatarstan this year is being carried out under six republican and two federal programs.

      As part of the program to provide the population with drinking water, work has been completed by 70%. During the reporting period, four facilities have been completed in four municipalities. For the program of reconstruction and major repairs of gas consumption networks, readiness is at 97%. During the reporting period, nine facilities have been completed in nine municipalities.

      As part of the republican program for the modernization of communal infrastructure, contractors are working on 84 facilities. The readiness is 42%. In the last two weeks, work has been completed on three facilities in the Yelabuga, Kamsko-Ustyinsky, and Rybno-Slobodsky districts. Under the federal project for the modernization of communal infrastructure, work has been completed by 83%. In the last two weeks, two facilities have been completed in the Leninogorsk district and Naberezhnye Chelny.

      Work on the federal project "Modern Appearance of Rural Territories" has been completed by 77%. In the last two weeks, two facilities have been completed in the Menzelinsk and Baltasinsky districts.
