Kazan graduates set a record for the number of 100-point results on the Unified State Exam (USE).

In 2026, graduates of Kazan schools set an absolute city record for the number of 100-point results on the Unified State Exam. A total of 240 results at the maximum score of 100 points were recorded following the examination campaign, reported the head of the city's education department, Irek Rizvanov, at the business Monday meeting. A total of 182 graduates achieved a perfect score—24 more than the previous year. Among them, 26 students received the maximum score in two subjects, and two graduates scored 100 points in three subjects. "The results are indeed impressive; there's no other way to describe them. There is much to be proud of. This is painstaking work. You cannot run a hundred meters without preparation, and here we have a hundred-meter dash that lasts 11 years," noted Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin. This year, a total of 22,736 graduates participated in the state final certification in Kazan, of which 6,554 eleventh graders took the Unified State Exam.
