      From August 3 to 9, in the Zainsk district, the police recorded fraud, fuel thefts, attempts to obtain access codes, violations of environmental legislation, and other incidents.

      In the Zainsk district, 132 reports and messages about incidents were registered over the past week. According to the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, during the same period, there were 10 traffic accidents without injuries, and police officers stopped 69 violations of traffic rules.

      Fraud in Zainsk: damage amounted to more than 300 thousand rubles.

      During the week, the police department received three reports of fraud. In two cases, criminal cases were initiated. On August 4, a resident of Yelabuga born in 1985 reported that an unknown person deceived him and took his money — 49,500 rubles. On August 6, a 62-year-old resident of Zainsk became a victim of fraudsters. Under the pretext of selling a car engine and paying for a parcel, the criminal stole 102,438 rubles. A criminal case has been initiated. On the same day, a local resident born in 1955 contacted the police due to unfinished repair work. According to her, a man, under the pretext of repairing an apartment, received 150,000 rubles. The work was not completed, and the man has not yet been found. An investigation is underway.

      Residents of the Zainsk district were attempted to be deceived through MAX.

      The police registered three reports of unauthorized access to computer information. Unknown individuals called citizens under the pretext of creating a home chat in the MAX messenger or extending the subscription fee. During the conversations, the criminals asked for the code that was sent to the phone. Citizens did not lose any money, and access to government services was also not obtained. Police officers remind: codes from SMS and app notifications should not be shared with strangers, regardless of who they claim to be and under what pretext they are contacting.

      In the Zainsk district, diesel fuel thefts are being investigated.

      Over the week, three cases of fuel theft were registered. On August 5, a 1996-born driver-tractor operator was detained in the Kara-Yelga area. According to the police, he stole about 100 liters of diesel fuel. The man was taken to the police department. On August 6, it became known about the theft of 200 liters of fuel from a tractor in Svetloe Ozero. The equipment belongs to the organization "TST." Another case is related to the theft of 90 liters of diesel fuel from a bulldozer's tank. The amount of damage amounted to 7,740 rubles. Operational and technical measures are being carried out for all cases, and individuals involved in the crimes are being identified.

      Illegal waste storage was discovered in Zainsk.

      Police officers also identified three cases of non-compliance with environmental protection requirements. On August 4, on the territory of the Agrofirm "Vostok" in the "Nalim" and "Urnyak" subdivisions, the storage of household and industrial waste on the ground was discovered. Among the waste were used automotive and tractor oil filters, polyethylene bags, and plastic. On August 5, construction waste was found on a plot of land on Lenin Street, 36, about 100 meters south of the house. The actions exhibit signs of an administrative offense as stipulated by Article 8.2 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation.

      Ten traffic accidents occurred in the Zainsk district.

      According to the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, during the reporting period, 10 traffic accidents were registered in the municipal district. There were no injuries in these accidents.

      The traffic police stopped 69 violations of traffic rules. Over the past week, one fatal case was also registered. Additionally, on August 5, a petty theft was registered in the "Magnit" store in Zainsk. An unknown person stole alcoholic products worth 2,032 rubles and 67 kopecks. In total, from August 3 to 9, the OMVD of Russia for the Zainsk district received 132 reports and messages about incidents. Among them, one case of suicide was also registered. The materials of the check have been transferred to the investigative committee, and the circumstances of the incident are being established.
