Parishioners of the Zainsk district are helping to repair a unique chapel.

      In the village of Kaban-Bastryk, the renovation of the chapel of Archangel Michael, built according to a unique design — there were only three such structures in Russia — continues.

      In the village of Kaban-Bastryk, parishioners and local residents have taken on the renovation of the chapel of Archangel Michael. This unique structure is one of three similar objects in Russia, built according to a special project. The chapel has stood at the entrance to the village for thirteen years and has become a holy place for the residents of Kaban-Bastryk, Zychebash, and Durt-Muncha.

      Who is helping

      This year, the villagers have planned work on cladding the wooden cornices with plastic. Many are helping: Vitaly Bataev with friends, Evgeny Maximov, Danil Anisimov, later joined by Andrey Pavlov and Grigory Mironov, Nikolai Ivanov. Everyone contributes to the preservation of the shrine.

      A good deed

      Local residents believe that any good deed done for the chapel returns manifold and warms the souls of those who invest their strength and time into it. The renovation continues, and the chapel will soon shine anew.
