The female, carefully watching her surroundings, led her baby to a salt lick — a source of essential minerals. The calf confidently stayed close to its mother and seemed to be learning survival lessons in the wild. The forest giant, the moose, behaved completely naturally, consuming a variety of plants and ignoring the hidden observation. The appetite of the adult animal is impressive: in a day, it can eat up to 35 kilograms of plant food. Following them into the frame were the roe deer: after looking around, they also decided to become stars of the lens.

      These traps know more about forest life than it seems at first glance. They help to better understand who and how lives in the area, allowing the study of animal behavior, migrations, and populations without direct interference, which is especially important for preserving the unique ecosystem for future generations. However, behind the beautiful footage lies a serious warning: people are asked not to approach wild animals. If you encounter a calf or another animal — admire from a distance, do not attempt to pet, feed, or take it with you.
