In Tatarstan, they want to create an interactive Center for Science and Technology.

      In the Republic of Tatarstan, the opening of an interactive Center for Science and Technology is planned, for which a concept has already been prepared. This information was announced by the president of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan, Rifkat Minnikhanov, at the August meeting of educators. He clarified that the development was carried out by Innopolis University in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Academy of Sciences, and the House of Entertaining Science and Technology at the request of the head of the republic. The main idea of the center is to visually demonstrate to children the entire path of a researcher: from posing a question through experiments and mistakes to evidence and discoveries. To implement the project, a number of organizational tasks need to be resolved: choose a location, determine the state customer, find sources of funding, and prepare project and estimate documentation. Rifkat Minnikhanov proposed to create a special working group for this purpose, which should present a report by the end of the year. In addition, he recommended that the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with Innopolis University, develop formats for outdoor classes, integrating them into the curriculum in accordance with federal educational standards. As a pilot zone for the launch, it is proposed to consider schools in Kazan and the Verkhneuslonsky district. The president of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan also spoke about plans to test digital textbooks on computer science and artificial intelligence with an integrated AI assistant in schools, which will be ready by September. Testing can be conducted in computer science classes or as part of electives. Additionally, a proposal was made to create a unified intellectual educational platform, the implementation of which is proposed to start with ten schools in the republic. To popularize science in the urban environment, Rifkat Minnikhanov appealed to the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tatarstan with a request to explore the possibility of showing thematic videos on media screens in public transport and the metro.
