A bus with Russians crashed into a truck in Vietnam – the deceased could have been a resident of Kazan.

      A tourist bus with Russian tourists was involved in a traffic accident on the morning of August 15 in the Vietnamese province of Lam Dong. As a result of the accident, one person died, and several others were injured, reports the Russian Union of Travel Industry. Preliminary reports indicate that the bus was traveling on the Nha Trang - Ho Chi Minh route and collided with a truck that had stopped on the emergency lane of the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway. One Russian tourist suffered a leg fracture and was hospitalized. Another passenger injured their back. The other tourists sustained minor injuries and received necessary medical assistance. Those who did not require hospitalization are returning to Nha Trang. The tour operator and insurance company are in contact with the injured person hospitalized in Ho Chi Minh City and are providing necessary assistance. The body of the deceased is in Mui Ne. The circumstances and causes of the accident are being investigated by Vietnamese law enforcement agencies. The deceased may have been a 38-year-old resident of Kazan. According to the Telegram channel, the woman was originally from Mari El, later moved to Kazan, where she graduated from a medical college and worked as a pharmacist. After that, she retrained as a tour operator. She is survived by her husband and three minor children. It is reported that the woman was traveling with her family and celebrated her 38th birthday in Vietnam on August 13. According to the channel, during the excursion, she was on the bus with her husband.
