      On Saturday, August 15, the tournament among teams of the All-Russian Hockey League Almet Oilers Cup concluded in Almetyevsk. In the fifth calendar match, securing their third consecutive victory, the main trophy of the competition was won by the Neftekamsk "Toros". Before the final match, the tournament standings maintained intrigue – three of the remaining teams had scored 2 points each. Everything was decided in the match between "Neftyanik" and "Bars". In the 40th minute, Matvey Govorkov and Pavel Kulikov equalized the score within 25 seconds. Seizing the initiative, at the beginning of the third period, "Neftyanik", thanks to a goal from Ildan Galeev, took the lead – 3:2. And further, with a nervous finish and a powerful onslaught from the opponent, the Almetyevsk team managed to hold on to the victory. As a result, "Neftyanik" earned 4 points and finished second in the home tournament. "Bars" took third place. Closing the tournament table is CSK VVS. With equal points, the Samara team trails "Bars" on additional indicators.

      Artem Anisimov, head coach of "Neftyanik": “- First of all, today we won both in the shootout and in the game. Congratulations to the guys and fans on the victory. The guys did well after two very serious games, they gave a lot of energy and emotions today. I see it was tough, but we managed, we won. We pleased the fans over three games. I would say that even the two previous games were quite good in terms of content. There is a lot to improve, especially since the attacking line has changed completely. This mostly concerns the leaders, their place should be taken by new guys. But, of course, from the first game we had to correct a lot of discipline, we took a lot of penalties, we corrected tactical actions. I think everything is ahead. The guys perceive all this well, they are working, which is the most important thing. And they are gradually correcting everything, step by step. I think everything should be fine. Congratulations to the team and fans on the victory.

      - We don’t even have time to track how players join the team, then a day or two later we see them in the lineup in Kazan. Is some stability expected?

      - First of all, it’s good that the guys are joining "Ak Bars". This year, many are joining from "Neftyanik". This is very good. Stability will depend primarily on determining the first team lineup. Then something will come out of it.

      - Specifically about today’s last minute of the second period, when we went from 0:2 to 2:2.

      - This is probably more about the guys. They did well. They corrected everything in time, did everything in time.”
