Tatarstan has been recognized for two years
The Republic of Tatarstan has demonstrated high results in the field of cultural education for youth for two consecutive years. According to the results of 2024 and 2025, the region became a laureate of the Ministry of Culture of Russia's "Pushkin Card" award.
The award is given for effective engagement of young people in cultural life, development of modern formats, expansion of the audience of cultural institutions, and successful inter-agency coordination.
According to the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan, in 2025, hundreds of thousands of young people participated in the program in the republic, and 405 cultural organizations joined the project. In the first four months of 2025, more than 499,000 tickets were sold in Tatarstan through the "Pushkin Card," totaling 227 million rubles.
What opportunities does the "Pushkin Card" provide
The federal program "Pushkin Card" has been in effect since September 2021. It can be used by young people aged 14 to 22.
Funds from the card can be used to purchase tickets for:
- theaters;
- museums;
- concert halls;
- cinemas;
- other cultural institutions participating in the program.
The schedule of available events is posted on the "Culture.RF" portal and is regularly updated.
In 2026, VTB became the program operator instead of "Post Bank." To continue participating in the project, users needed to reissue their cards. The transition to a new operator was one of the reasons for the large-scale campaign to reissue cards.
Institutions and specialists received gratitude
At the end of the meeting, cultural institutions and specialists who made significant contributions to the development of the "Pushkin Card" in Tatarstan were recognized.
The high indicators of the republic testify to the demand for the project among young people. Thanks to the program, young residents of the region have the opportunity to attend cultural events, get acquainted with theatrical and musical art, exhibitions, cinema, and the historical heritage of Tatarstan.
