"Ak Bars" may strengthen with forward Ivan Morozov.

Kazan's "Ak Bars" may acquire forward Ivan Morozov. The parties are discussing a possible transfer of the 26-year-old forward, reports "Championat." Meanwhile, the rights to the hockey player in the Kontinental Hockey League still belong to Moscow's "Spartak" and are valid until the end of the 2030/2031 season. If Morozov returns to the KHL, the Moscow club will retain priority rights to sign him. Morozov officially left "Spartak" on July 1, 2026. In the past regular season, he played 44 games, scored 11 goals, and made 17 assists. In the playoffs, he recorded five games and five points — two goals and three assists. Previously, the forward played for the Moscow team since 2023 and during this time became one of the club's offensive leaders. In total, he scored 141 points in 173 games for "Spartak."
