According to preliminary data, on August 17, 2026, in the territory of the grain terminal of the LLC "Agricultural Enterprise 'Smail'" in the village of Smail, Baltasinsky District, a 13-year-old teenager climbed onto the boom of a grain loader, grabbed it with his hands, resulting in the heavy structure collapsing onto the boy. The child sustained injuries and was hospitalized in a healthcare facility. The Baltasinsky District Prosecutor's Office initiated an inspection to ensure compliance with labor protection and safety legislation at the production site, as well as the legality of allowing a minor onto the enterprise's territory. Additionally, a legal assessment will be made of the actions of the legal representatives of the minor who allowed his uncontrolled presence near agricultural work.
