      Doctors at the Republican Clinical Oncology Dispensary removed a 4.5 kg tumor from a resident of Tatarstan. This was reported on social media by the head of the Ministry of Health of Tatarstan, Almir Abashev. Two years ago, a 62-year-old woman from Kazan noticed her abdomen was increasing in size. Associating this with weight gain, she did not go to the doctor. However, after some time, her weight decreased, but her abdomen continued to grow. At that point, the woman visited a clinic, where she was referred to the Republican Clinical Oncology Dispensary named after Prof. M.Z. Sigal. During the examination, doctors discovered a tumor, after which it was decided to remove it surgically. During the abdominal surgery, 16 liters of fluid were drained from the tumor, and then the tumor itself was removed along with the uterus, left ovary, fallopian tube, and greater omentum. The day after the surgery, the woman was on her feet. She has already been discharged from the hospital. "I want to appeal to all women not to neglect their health and to take care of themselves," warns the patient.
