Moscow's experience in selecting and training doctors will be implemented in Tatarstan.
Tatarstan intends to use Moscow's experience in the selection and professional development of medical personnel. Representatives of the Ministry of Health of the republic visited the capital's Personnel Center, where they studied the system for evaluating specialists, their training, and support. The republic already has its own Personnel Center of the Ministry of Health. As noted by the department's press secretary Azat Yakhyaev, some of Moscow's solutions are already being adapted for Tatarstan. According to him, new services should help attract doctors and other medical workers to the region, as well as create conditions for their continuous professional development. Tatarstan specialists also studied the organization of work with foreign patients. The delegation underwent a special course for medical coordinators who assist foreign citizens in receiving medical care. The program included issues of communication, patient routing, visa and registration support, as well as consideration of cultural and religious characteristics. After training, coordinators will be able not only to assist foreign patients in Tatarstan but also to pass on the knowledge gained to clinic staff. Moscow, in turn, continues to share its developments with the regions. According to Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, more than 1,500 doctors from other regions of Russia undergo internships in the capital's medical institutions annually. The Moscow Personnel Center has already hosted specialists from more than 30 regions. Starting in 2025, capital practices will also help implement regional healthcare systems. Areas of focus include the development of endoscopy centers, mental health, and women's health. More than 30 methodological recommendations are issued annually for medical professionals. For Tatarstan, such an exchange of experience could become one of the tools for addressing personnel issues in healthcare—from attracting specialists to their further training and professional growth.
