      In the first half of 2026, the average monthly income of residents of Tatarstan reached 75,500 rubles, which is 12% more than in the same period last year. Consumer spending increased by 14.3% to 58,000 rubles. Real incomes, adjusted for inflation, rose by 4.8%, reports Rosstat. In the second quarter, incomes amounted to 80,700 rubles (+11.6%), and expenses were 59,500 rubles (+14.7%). In the first quarter, income growth was recorded at 12.5%, and expenses at 13.9%. The average salary in the region reached 98,500 rubles (+16.4% compared to last year), and in June, the figure exceeded 104,500 rubles. Overall in Russia, incomes grew by 7.3%, and expenses by 15.9%. In the Volga Federal District, the increases were 10.8% and 14.2%, respectively. Over the six months, the income of Tatarstan residents exceeded expenses by 23%. Rosstat includes salaries, pensions, benefits, interest on deposits, dividends, and other monetary receipts in its calculations.
