Both women sustained injuries and were taken to a medical facility by ambulance. After examination and assistance, the driver of the Honda NC was released. The second participant in the accident remains in the hospital. Following the incident, the Kazan State Traffic Inspectorate initiated an administrative offense case. An administrative investigation is currently underway. The State Traffic Inspectorate also drew attention to the statistics of accidents involving motorcyclists.
