"Tree of the World": Schoolchildren of the Zainsky District made promises to the heroes

      At the Alexander-Slobodskaya primary school, a class hour dedicated to the end of World War II took place. The students created a symbolic "Tree of Peace" and made promises that will help make the world around them kinder.

      Memory of the heroism of generations

      At the Alexander-Slobodskaya primary school, as part of the All-Russian action "In the footsteps of heroes," a class hour titled "Tree of Peace: Leaves of Promises" was held. The event was timed to coincide with the Day of the End of World War II—a memorial date that reminds us of the price of peace and the heroism of those who defended the Motherland.

      The meeting for elementary school students and preschool group children was organized by the director's advisor on education, the class teachers of the 1st and 4th grades, and activists.

      The students were told about the events of 1945 and the significance of a peaceful sky for every person. Participants recalled generations of heroes from the Great Patriotic War and World War II and discussed how to keep the memory of their heroism alive today.

      — "The end of the war gave people the opportunity to live, learn, be friends, and build the future. Our task is to remember this and make the world around us better with our actions," the organizers of the meeting noted.

      Leaves with important promises

      The main part of the class hour was a creative activity. Each participant received a leaf cut from colored paper and wrote a small but important promise on it.

      Among the children's promises were to help parents, study well, protect nature, be a loyal friend, and do good deeds. Then the colorful leaves were attached to a large silhouette of a tree, turning it into a bright symbol of peace and the future.

      At the end, those who wished read their promises aloud and shared how they plan to fulfill them in their daily lives.

      — "We realized that the memory of heroes is not just stories and books. It can be preserved through our actions: helping loved ones, caring for nature, supporting friends, and being responsible people," shared the participants of the class hour.

      Such events help children understand the connection between generations, foster respect for the history of the country, and form an understanding that peace begins with the actions of each individual.
