In city schools No. 1 and No. 2 the minister personally assessed the quality of the major repairs carried out, inspected modern classrooms and spoke with the teaching staff. At School No. 1 the guests were particularly impressed by the Teachers' Square, created at the initiative of volunteers — alumni and veteran teachers of the institution. In a short time the previously unused area was landscaped: cozy benches were installed and a gabion in the shape of a globe was placed there. Ilsur Garaevich also familiarized himself with the work of the A.S. Akhmetshin Center for Children's Creativity "Kilechak". The minister spoke with the center's pupils and their mentors, visited club groups and saw how supplementary education programs aimed at revealing each child's talents are being implemented. An important item on the program was a visit to the Nurlat boarding school for children with disabilities. This year, as part of the republican program to modernize school canteens, the food unit here underwent a major overhaul. The renovated dining area is now equipped with new, modern technological equipment, which not only makes it possible to improve the quality of meals but also to strictly comply with all sanitary and hygienic standards. During the visit Ilsur Khadiullin noted the positive changes that have taken place in the educational institutions of the Nurlat district and emphasized the importance of continuing work to create comfortable and modern conditions for the education and upbringing of the younger generation.
